Quality Traianing Program: training for the implementation of quality improvement projects
Explore the intensive training program developed by Fundación ECO and ASCO to empower oncology teams to lead their own quality improvement projects.
The Quality Training Program is an ASCO® educational program, available to all hospitals, that provides training and coaching to medical oncology departments, enabling them to improve clinical care and operational performance. Its objective is to assist and equip participating teams with the knowledge and resources needed to successfully design, implement and lead quality improvement activities.
In this regard, a multidisciplinary team from the ECO Foundation was prepared by ASCO® to deliver this training in Spain starting in October 2018. Thanks to this, ECO facilitates participation in the Quality Training Program to those Spanish hospitals interested in the continuous improvement of their healthcare quality, through training for the effective and sustainable implementation of quality improvement projects. The program includes access to ECO and ASCO® professionals and trainers with extensive experience in the field through an in-person and online training itinerary.
The first edition of the program ended in April 2019, with the second, third and fourth editions taking place between 2020 and 2022. The last edition of this project was in April 2024.
