Driving Excellence in Oncology Care

Driving Excellence in Oncology Care

GLOBAL CANCER ALLIANCE (GCA) is an independent, international non-profit association committed to reducing the global cancer burden by sharing knowledge, promoting best practices, and enabling equitable access to innovation. Connecting leaders worldwide to drive excellence in cancer care.

GCA was established in 2025 as the international extension of the ECO Foundation (Foundation for Excellence and Quality in Oncology), the first organization formed by Spanish oncologists, founded in 2009, to analyze the specialty globally and discuss guidelines for its improvement.

Building on over a decade of success in improving oncology care in Spain, our goal is to apply this proven model on a global scale, creating an international benchmark for quality and collaboration.

Therefore, Global Cancer Alliance and ECO Foundation means that oncologists are committed to working to improve oncology care, from the first stage, already in teaching, through research to patient care.

Our Mission:

Driving global progress against cancer through the collaborative engagement of professionals, institutions, patients, and health authorities.

Promoting medical education, research and access to innovation for all patients around a shared vision of equity and
excellence in cancer care.
